About Ayuty

30 years ago, it all started as an experiment. Our father faced hair fall, and our mother was a lecturer in beauty at ITI, which is a government institution. With her knowledge, she started formulating hair wash because she understood that dandruff is the core reason for hair fall.

She started researching the Ayurvedic literature and related research papers. Over time, she developed a unique formulation which showed great results, and the hair fall reduced drastically over a couple of weeks.

Our family, coming from a farming background, used to visit our farms regularly. One fine day, she encountered the same herbs like bhringaraj, brahmi, anatmool, and others growing wild in the corners of the farm. She brought them home and started using them in the formulations, only to find out that they gave even better results.

Now that she had found bhringaraj as well, which is known as the king of hair, and the dandruff problem was solved, she started developing bhringaraj hair oil for supporting regrowth of hair. She saw magic, and hair started regrowing. This solidified her belief in Ayurveda.

As the results became visible, neighbours started asking what she did. Some batches were created and distributed amongst family, friends, and neighbours. Coming from the beauty industry, she was closely associated with beauty parlours and Ayurvedic doctors.

She started supplying the products to them. The positive word of mouth grew, the demand started coming in and growing, and Shrivena Industries was born.

The business sustained for three decades at a small scale. We, the sons, witnessed the back-end and front-end activities that were going on in the business — bringing raw materials, packaging materials, seeing the formulation and manufacturing happening at our home, and supplying products to beauty parlours, Ayurvedic doctors, and direct customers.

We also regularly put up stalls in exhibitions and Mahila Gruh Udyog events.

We were always a part of it. Looking at her ambition to grow this business many fold, in 2024 we pumped a fresh breath of life into it by giving it a brand identity, which we all today know as AYUTY.

Coming from a humble background, our mother always believed in better education first. We brothers, Piyush and Shantanu, completed our education from IMT Ghaziabad (MBA in Marketing) and IIT Delhi (B.Tech) respectively.

We worked in corporate and startups for a couple of years. But in the back of our minds, we always wanted to contribute to our mother’s mission of spreading Ayurvedic goodness to the world and take the legacy ahead.
